What has Donald Trump got in common with the Allied bombing of Germany during the Second World War? Both have inspired a book called Fire and Fury.

Canadian academic Randall Hansen’s 2009 publication was a success when it was released nearly a decade ago, becoming a bestseller in its native country and a nomination in the prestigious Governor General’s Awards.

But that’s not why Fire and Fury has suddenly shot up the Canadian best seller lists. It’s currently topping three Amazon history lists, and is the 67th most popular book in the country.

This, it’s thought, is due solely to people confusing Hansen’s book with Woolff’s, or perhaps being drawn to it thanks to the similar title.
